The item upgrade feature allows players to increase the level for weapons that can be equipped or armor. This improves the stats of that equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or the rerolling of an affix.

Requirements

The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by its tier and the quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels up to nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six.
